In 1922,

the Design Bureau was created under the Moscow Association of State Power Stations


In 1927 "Mosenergoproekt" participated in the development of the first schemes of a heat supply of Moscow.
October 1941, 

the bureau was closed; most of the employees are sent away to the war.

In December 1941,  the bureau resumed work; facilities for stations air defense were being designed.
1949

The Mosenergo Design Bureau was transformed into the Mosenergoproekt institute

In 1972 a head unit, which has no analogs in the world, was designed and commissioned
